Coincidence?

I've just added a picture to my profile, I'm sure you've already noticed that. It's Dorothy Sayers, one of my more unexpected dopplegangers. That wouldn't be worth mentioning except that when I was searching for the picture I found the following description.

Dorothy Sayers (1893-1957) was an Anglo-Irish novelist, playwright, critic and theological commentator. As well as achieving popularity with novels, detective stories and plays she was widely respected for her translations of Tristan, The Divine Comedy and The Song of Roland. Throughout her life she took a close interest in ecclesiastical and theological developments and was a sharp and perceptive critic of many contemporary follies.

Well this is very fancy isn't it. I did not know such things as blogs had been created. But being a bit of a girl I'm not really up to date on this sort of thing. Maybe I should give it a go? But given that I can hardly find the time to email people maybe not. Congrats on Birmingham. I don't blame you for wanting to leave Belfast. With me not being here is there really a reason to stay? Are little movie gang is falling apart and moviehouse profits have plummeted.

And I thought I was late on the scene!

Yeah, Belfast will surely be a different place without you. I'll miss your taxi service.

It's a shame about the movie club, but like all good things...

I was thinking of doing a post about the films I've seen in the last six months. I'll probably just try to rank them, those I can remember that is. You can offer your considered disagreement when I do.

Your picture brings me great, great joy. It really does. Great joy.

May you never, ever change.

Although one may ask: does coming back as you suggest that Dorothy was particularly well or particularly badly behaved during her spell on this green earth? Or was it a simple side-step?

Well, it might equally be said that she came back as you; if some rumours are to be believed.

I don't have any inside information on Dorothy's behaviour but it might be convenient to blame some/all of my failings on her.

And I shall do my best to remain immutable, as you request, although that means keeping my failings, I can blame you for them when people don't believe my story about Dorothy
