First of many?

It seems like everyone's doing it these days so I thought I'd join-in.

Here's my first post in my brand-new blog. I think I'll try to use it mainly to share photos over the web, I can add my own captions to them too. Maybe I'll include stuff I did years ago as well because it's difficult to think of new and interesting things all the time. And people who don't know me that well can catch up with some of the headlines from the last few years.

I haven't got a clue how these things work but I'll try to organise my blog thematically: Spiritual/theological reflections in one place, stupid made-up stories in another, and pictures of frogs on bikes somewhere else.

So, erm... welcome, may this place be erm... nice

Hey Rowland,

Welcome to the world of blogging! I do hope it's a happy and long-lived journey for you. I also hope you have more joy with blogspot than I did (my blog disappeared into thin air one day! Really!). I have since moved to another place, which I don't like nearly as much as I liked blogspot, and which only has a random selection of my posts from the last year or so, and not so many recent ones either.

Anyway, all that to say "welcome" and that I'll be looking forward to reading what you write.

Mirupafshim,
Primrose

Thanks Old lady, and congratulations on being the first to leave a comment.

I'm sorry about the disasters you've had with your own blog, hopefully I'll be spared such a fate.

I'd be interested to see your blog, or at least, I think that's what I'm supposed to say. I could even put a link to it on this one if you like, if I can figure out how...

Okay, I clicked on your name and it took me to your blog, so I should have tried that before writing my reply.

BTW, I was thinking last night of posting the incredibly strange conversation we had a few months ago on messenger, seeing as you were daft enough to save it and send it to me an' all.

But then there are two problems, it's very long (over 4000 words) and it might not be in good taste, especially after what's been happening in London recently.
